  • 1 stick softened butter (salted or unsalted)
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 cup cold water

Healthy Butter Meal Prep and Storage

Prep: Whip your butter as directed (instructions in next section) then scoop into a jar, or butter mold and chill.
Fridge Storage: Will hold in the fridge for a month.
Freezer Storage: Scoop into butter molds (see below for link) and chill. Then pop out of the casing and wrap in parchment paper. Place parchment paper wrapped sticks of butter into a freezer bag or container and store in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Special Tip: I like to add this to a Butter Mold (try this one) and freeze. Then I pop out the sticks and store for later

  • 1 stick softened butter salted or unsalted
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions
 

  • Using a standing mixer with the whisk attachment or a handheld mixer, whip the butter until fluffy.
  • Slowly add in the olive oil while whisking.
  • Then slowly add in the cold water while whisking.
  • Whip together until fluffy and creamy.
  • Scoop into a glass jar or container, or into a butter mold.
  • Will hold in the fridge for 1 month, and in the freezer for 3 months.
