Most marinades for chicken skewers are full of oil and fat. But I cut the oil and boosted the flavor, so what you get is the best ever chicken skewer appetizer, or dinner.
Low Calorie Tips for Making Marinated Chicken Skewers Recipe:
- Lower the oil and add in soy sauce… it helps tenderize the chicken and boosts the flavor! Get Tamari sauce if you’re looking to keep this recipe for chicken skewers gluten-free.
- Marinade the chicken the night before… it makes for much more flavorful chicken kabobs! So you and your tastebuds won’t get bored of chicken recipes.
- Add LOTS of veggies… I used 3 bell peppers and an entire red onion in this chicken kabob recipe. This allows me to have more food, for less calories.
