Ingredients
- Olive oil spray
- 1 red onion minced
- 1 red bell pepper minced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 pound ground turkey beef or chicken
- 1 carrot grated
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 16 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Get a sauté pan over medium heat, and spray with olive oil.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic and sauté until soft, about 10 minutes.
- Add in the ground meat, and cook until browned, about 10 minutes.
- Add in the carrot, tomato paste, tomato sauce, mustard, honey, vinegar, chili powder, and paprika. Mix and simmer until thick, about 10 minutes.
- Taste, and add salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve hot, on burger buns.
