Margarita Ingredients

In this section I will share all natural margarita ingredients, so you can make your margarita in a healthier way… and likely avoid any hangovers that processed sugar and alcohol mixed can cause.

The mixer margarita ingredients below can be frozen! I like to make the margarita mix (less the alcohol) and freeze it into ice cubes. It makes the best margarita recipes in a flash… especially frozen margaritas!

The Margarita Ingredients:

  • Tequila
  • Orange liquor
  • Fresh lime juice
  • Fresh orange juice
  • Agave syrup
  • Salt

I find that these ingredients make the best Cadillac margarita recipes, and blended frozen margarita recipes.

You may find that many homemade margarita recipes don’t often include orange juice, and I will explain more on this later. But adding a sweeter citrus fruit to the margarita mixer allows me to cut the agave and orange liquor, saving lots of calories and sugar!

A margarita frozen recipe is almost identical to a Cadillac margarita, it’s just blended!

Cadillac Margarita Recipe

For me… a Cadillac margarita is the best recipe for a margarita! It is my homemade margarita of choice.

Similar to the above margarita recipe frozen, it’s simple and relies on lime and fresh orange juice to make a flavorful margaritas recipe.

To make Cadillac margarita recipes it’s helpful, though not necessary, to use a cocktail shaker.

Add all the ingredients (less the salt) and shake your margarita recipe well. Then pour over ice in a salt lined margarita glass.

If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, just combine all the margarita ingredients into a tall glass and mix the margarita recipe well. Then pour over ice.

The best recipe for margaritas (in my humble opinion) is the Cadillac Margarita… and you don’t need any fancy equipment to make one!
