Ingredients
 
 

  • 3 oz tequila
  • 2 oz orange liquor Cointreau or Grand Marnier
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup optional
  • 1-2 teaspoons salt optional
  • 1-2 cups of ice depending on your style of margarita

Instructions
 

Cadillac Margarita Recipe:

  • Add some margarita salt or kosher salt to a small plate.
  • Cut a lime wedge, then rub it around the rim of a margarita glass.
  • Dip the margarita glass rim into the salt.
  • Fill the margarita glass with ice and set aside.
  • To a cocktail shaker (or just a glass if that’s all you have) combine the tequila, orange liquor, lime juice, orange juice, and agave.
  • Cover and shake (if using a glass just mix well), then pour into prepared margarita glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge.

Frozen Margaritas Recipe:

  • Add some margarita salt or kosher salt to a small plate.
  • Cut a lime wedge, then rub it around the rim of a margarita glass.
  • Dip the margarita glass rim into the salt, and set aside.
  • To a blender add the tequila, orange liquor, lime juice, orange juice, agave, and ice.
  • Blend until smooth, then pour into prepared margarita glasses.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge.
