Ingredients in Low Calorie Bees Knees Gin Cocktails
The ingredients in a bee drink cocktail are very simple. Typically you only need gin, honey, and lemon.
But to keep this cocktail low calorie, I have made a small modification I think you’ll love. (Best of all, it makes the recipe even simpler!)
Low Calorie Tips for Making a Honey Bee Cocktail:
- All-natural low calorie honey sweetener… I found this all natural honey flavored sweetener and can’t get enough of it! Best of all, it means you can make a vegan bees knees cocktail! (see recipe card!)
- Real Lemon Juice… skip the preservative (and often sugar) filled store bought lemon juice and just buy a lemon for this recipe. You’ll want the lemon twist for the garnish anyway, might as well get the real thing!
Shopping List for Gin Lemon Cocktail Recipes:
- All-natural low calorie honey sweetener (see recipe card!)
- Gin
- Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- Ice
- Lemon twist (optional garnish)
Since you need lemon juice and a lemon twist, just get a lemon for the cocktail. You’ll want 1/4 lemon per cocktail (just incase you were wondering).
