You can make this ice cream recipe avocado in a blender or a food processor. However it’s best in a food processor.
Special Note: If you’re adding in some optional add-ins to your healthy ice cream, you may want to hold 1/2 of the chocolate chips, coconut, or pecans to top the avocado ice cream with. This will give it a nice texture.

- Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor.
- Pulse to get things moving, then blend until smooth.
- Scrape the ingredients down as needed to blend well.
- Scoop into a lidded container or a bread pan, and cover with plastic wrap.
- Freeze for 1-2 hours until firm, then scoop and serve.

We cut 100’s of calories by using unsweetened almond milk in place of coconut cream. Then we gave the recipe a healthy protein boost with plant based vanilla protein powder.

- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
- 2 tablespoon all-natural zero calorie sweetener
- 1 avocado
- 2 cups spinach
- 4 cups ice
Optional Add-Ins:
- 4 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
- 4 tablespoons flaked coconut
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract try the chocolate and peppermint together for mint chocolate chip!
