  • 2 tablespoons zero calorie all natural brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons flax seeds
  • ½ cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

This healthy breakfast granola and peanut butter recipe uses zero calorie, all natural brown sugar to help sweeten without adding excess sugar and calories.

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • In a 9 x 9 casserole dish, combine all the peanut butter granola ingredients, and mix well.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, stirring twice, until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and leave uncovered on the countertop overnight to crisp up. Then store in a cool dry place for up to a week.
