- 2 cups frozen mango
- 1 cup prepared and cooled green tea 1 tea bag + 1 cup water
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 3 tablespoons all natural zero calorie simple syrup
- ¼ cup quick-cooking tapioca pearls prepared (directions below)
Instructions
How to Make Mango Green Boba Tea:
- Add the mango, prepared green tea, milk, and simple syrup to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add the prepared tapioca pearls to the bottom of 2 glasses.
- Top with blended mango green tea smoothie, and serve immediately.
How to Cook Tapioca Pearls:
- Bring water to a boil in a large pot.
- Slowly add in the tapioca pearls. Give the water a gentle stir so that the pearls do not stick to each other.
- Let the water boil for a minute. Cover the pot with a lid and reduce the heat to medium.
- Cook the tapioca pearls for 5 minutes or according to the instructions on the packet.
- Turn off the heat and leave the tapioca pearls covered for a few minutes.
- Drain the hot water and cover the tapioca pearls in cold water for about 10 seconds.
- Drain the cold water and transfer the pearls to a container.
