Low Calorie Catalina Dressing

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ⅓ cup no sugar added ketchup
  • ⅓ cup honey (see recipe card for a swap)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup vegetable broth
  • 1-3 teaspoons cornstarch (as needed to thicken)

Special Tip: I took out all the oil, which emulsifies and thickens, so I used cornstarch to thicken. If you like a creamy Catalina Dressing 2 tablespoons of 0% greek yogurt are a better fit

  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • cup no sugar added ketchup
  • cup honey (try this Zero Calorie Honey)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup vegetable broth
  • 1-3 teaspoons cornstarch as needed to thicken

Instructions
 

  • To a blender, add all of the salad dressing ingredients including 1 teaspoon cornstarch.
  • Blend until mixed well, check for flavor adding in more soy sauce or honey as needed.
  • Move to a jar and store for later. Will hold for 6 days in the fridge, shake before using.
