Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (or Tamari)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

Orange Chicken Sauce:

  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup soy sauce or Tamari
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger minced
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • In a large pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken until browned and cooked though, about 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, combine the orange sauce mixture in a medium bowl.
  • Once cooked, move the chicken to a plate, and pour the sauce into the pan.
  • Bring the sauce mixture to a boil, lower to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 10 minutes. Stir often to avoid burning.
  • Once the sauce is thickened and coats the back of a spoon, add the cooked chicken to the pan and mix together to coat the chicken in orange sauce.

    Different elevations can change such things. Try adding 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
