Healthy Cobb Salad Dressing

Healthy Cobb Salad Dressing

This Healthy Cobb Salad Dressing is just 32 calories, has no oil and is a healthy alternative to the traditional Cobb salad dressing (that calls for a full cup of oil!)

A reader requested a low calorie Cobb salad and so I got started researching and recipe testing. I thought all the calories would be in the bacon, cheese, and avocado. But what shocked me was that the traditional Cobb salad dressing had 250-350 calories per 1/4 cup!

With a few of my low calorie tips and tricks, I was able to cut out all of the oil, boost the nutrition, and make a 32 calorie salad dressing that I know you’ll love!

To cut the oil and the calories I used a combination of vegetable broth and greek yogurt. It gives you the creaminess you want in a Cobb salad dressing, while matching the flavor of the traditional oil based recipe.

In the recipe card, I supplied vegan swaps so you can make this low calorie Cobb salad dressing no matter what your dietary restrictions are.

How to Make Low Calorie Cobb Salad Dressing

I’m a big fan of making salad dressings in mason jars. So if you have a clean jar with a lid, you can add all of the ingredients to the jar. Then cover and shake.

What I really love about this, is that you can easily store any leftovers in the fridge without dealing with added clean up!
