This one pan baked Italian sausage dinner is just 258 calories, and can be made quick, or slow.Below, I've included different temperatures and times to make this easy Italian bake. Though I prefer to cook the dish at 375º for 25-30 minutes. Learn how to cook Italian sausage in the oven to perfection, with this healthy and yummy one pan meal.
Ingredients
- 3 Turkey or Chicken Italian sausages
- 2 red bell peppers chopped
- 24 ounces fingerling potatoes quartered lengthwise
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375º.
- To a large cast iron skillet, or 9×13 baking dish, combine the sausages, bell peppers, potatoes, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Toss to mix well, then add to the oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Half way through cooking, toss the ingredients to avoid burning.
- Once cooked through, (the sausages and potatoes will be browned) add one sausage to each plate. Divide the potatoes and bell peppers between the 3 plates, and serve hot.
How to Cook Italian Sausage in the Oven:
- Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes
- Bake at 375º for 25-30 minutes
- Bake at 400º for 20-25 minutes
- Bake at 425º for 15-20 minutes
- Bake at 450º for 10-15 minutes
