How to Make a Low Calorie Whiskey Smash Cocktail

To make this easy whiskey cocktail, you will need a muddler, and a cocktail shaker.

Though you could use a tall glass and a spoon to do the smashing, in that case you would not “shake” (unless you wanted whiskey on the ceiling.)

How to Make a Skinny Whiskey Bourbon Smash:

  1. Fill a glass with crushed ice.
  2. Add the mint leaves to a cocktail shaker. Muddle to extract flavor.
  3. Next, add the lemon wedges and muddle again to release the juice.
  4. Add the whiskey and zero calorie simple syrup and fill the shaker with ice.
  5. Shake until cold and strain into a glass.
  6. Top with soda water, and serve with a mint leaf.
