  • ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
  • ½ cup mango chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • 1.5 ounces tequila
  • ¼ teaspoon agave
  • 1 cup ice
  • 4 ounces sparkling water (like Topo Chico)

Meal Prep and Storage for Skinny Mango Margaritas

Meal Prep: You can meal prep (or make party pitchers) by making the drink and skipping the ice and soda water. Then cover (jars are great for this) and store for later. 
Storage: Will hold for 2 days in the fridge, or add to the freezer for 2 weeks (it won’t freeze solid thanks to the booze).

Equipment

Ingredients
 
 

  • ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
  • ½ cup mango chunks fresh or frozen
  • 1.5 ounces tequila
  • ¼ teaspoon agave
  • 1 cup ice
  • 4 ounces sparkling water like Topo Chico

Optional Salt Rim:

  • 1 lime wedge
  • ½ tablespoon course salt

Instructions
 

Salt Rim:

  • Add the salt to a shallow dish.
  • Wet the rim of a rocks or margarita glass with the slice of lime.
  • Gently rotate the rim into the salt to coat the edge of the glass evenly.

Mango Margaritas:

  • To a blender combine the lime juice, mango, tequila and agave.
  • Blend well and pour into a glass filled with ice.
  • Slowly pour in the sparkling water over the ice, stir with a spoon.
  • Pour the contents of the shaker (including the ice) into a glass and serve.
