These Low Calorie Biscuits and Gravy are just as good as the full fat version, but guilt free!You get one full biscuit and about 1/3 cup gravy and sausage. It's a very filling and large portion. Special Tip: If you don't like the meat in the recipe you can skip it, or use Vegan Sausage.
Spray a skillet with olive oil and heat over medium heat.
Add in the low calorie sausage and cook through, then remove to a plate to cool.
Add the flour to the skillet and 1/2 cup of milk. Whisk together until you have no lumps, then add the remaining almond milk and cook, mixing often until thick, about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile chop or crumble the cooked sausage.
Once the gravy is thick, add in the crumbled sausage, salt and pepper and mix well.
