Instructions
How to Make Ginger Shots with a Juicer:
Wash the ginger, scrubbing to remove any dirt.
Remove and discard the rind (both the yellow and white parts) of the lemons.
Juice the ginger. Once done, juice the lemons.
To a jar or glass measuring cup, add the ginger and lemon juice.
Add in the coconut water, honey and cayenne pepper.
Mix until the honey is dissolved.
Pour into 4 shot glasses, or store in the fridge for up to 3 days (drinking fresh is better).
How to Make Ginger Shots with a Blender:
Wash the ginger, scrubbing to remove any dirt.
Slice the ginger, and add to the blender.
Juice the lemons, and add the lemon juice, coconut water, honey and cayenne to the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Place a fine mesh strainer over a glass bowl or large glass measuring cup.
Pour the contents of the blender into the strainer. Use the back of the spoon to press any remaining juice out.
Pour into 4 shot glasses, or store in the fridge for up to 3 days (drinking fresh is better).
