If you are using frozen strawberries (I did, no shame in that) pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds, if they are soft take them out (if not give them another 30 seconds) and place in a blender or food processor.
Add the sugar and the lemon juice and blend until smooth add a tbsp water if needed, place in jar and top ice cream, yogurt, pound cake, cheese cake, waffles or pancakes and dig in.
