of unsweetened almond milk
divided
1 ½
teaspoons
vanilla extract
1 ½
teaspoons
Zero calorie simple syrup
Instructions
Vanilla Milkshakes:
Freeze 1/2 the almond milk (1.5 cups) in ice cube trays.
Once frozen, add the cubes, remaining almond milk, vanilla extract, and simple syrup to a blender.
Blend until just smooth and serve immediately.
Strawberry or Chocolate Milkshakes:
Add 1 tablespoon of strawberry or chocolate sauce (see below) to the bottom of a glass, pour in the vanilla milkshake.
Top with another 1 tablespoon of strawberry or chocolate sauce over the top and mix gently with a spoon or straw.
Alternatively, you can add these sauces to the blender at the beginning.
Serve immediately.
