This low calorie bruschetta recipe is easy to make an absolutely delicious!
You can serve this recipe for bruschetta as an appetizer, though I recommend it as a side dish along side a chicken dish. It's the perfect balance of vegetables and carbs.

sourdough baguette
thinly sliced

garlic clove

extra virgin olive oil

fresh tomatoes chopped

green onions chopped

basil ripped into small pieces
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Add the sliced baguette to a rimmed cookie sheet and bake for 7-13 minutes, check after 5 minutes and keep an eye on them.
Remove from the oven; allow bread to cool for a couple of minutes.
Once cooled enough to handle rub gently with the garlic clove on one side of each slice of bread.
Heat the oven to 400 degrees.
In a casserole dish combine oil and chopped tomatoes and roast for 20 minutes.
Remove bruschetta tomatoes from the oven, add the onions and basil let cool slightly before serving over the prepared bread.
