Guacamole on toast can be made many different ways. But we loved the idea of guacamole in place of cream cheese.

So we combined the flavors of salmon toast with cream cheese (with dill and lemon) to make a wonderful guacamole that is fantastic on toast with salmon!

How to Make Avocado Toast with Salmon:

  1. Toast the bread until desired doneness.
  2. Meanwhile, add the avocado, dill, salt, pepper and lemon juice to a bowl. Mash with the back of a fork.
  3. When the toast is done, move to a plate and rub one side with the garlic clove.
  4. Top each slice of bread with the mashed avocado, and top the guacamole with 2 pieces of smoked salmon.
  5. Cut each piece of toast in half, and serve with lemon wedges.
