Final Thoughts

I originally made this recipe with peaches and raspberries, to make a Sunrise Cobbler Recipe in my first cookbook Lose Weight By Eating.

You can add in 1/2 cup raspberries to this recipe to give it a stunning color, and take advantage of yet another delicious summer fruit.

You can also make this cobblers recipe in ramekins! Just prep as instructed above, and add the filling and toppings to each ramekin. Place on a cookie sheet (incase it spills over) and bake for 25 minutes.

I love making this recipe in ramekins, then I top them with 1/2 scoop ice cream (with the flat side of. the scoop on the bottom so no-one notices it’s only 1/2 scoop). It will melt a little and become the perfect dessert.

Here at Lose Weight By Eating we have one goal… Make the unhealthy, healthy (or at least healthier) so you don’t have to avoid your favorite foods.

Weight loss is difficult enough, cutting out your favorite foods will only lead to binging and breaking your diet.

Though I know that this recipe is not as healthy as a salad… I also know it will help you stay on plan for far fewer calories than the average, full calorie version of this recipe.
