We made this fry sauce Idaho style. Also known as fry sauce Utah style (because they are so close to Idaho, and influenced by our amazing food *wink). This popular French fry sauce recipe is made with Mayo, Ketchup and Seasoning. But… not… ours, we made a healthy version that even the most discerning fry lover will enjoy.

Low Calorie Recipe Tip: We took out the French fry dipping sauce mayo, and replaced it with a combination of 0% Greek Yogurt, Dijon Mustard, and water.

Ever since I moved to Idaho, I have been enamored with the delicious fry sauce recipes you find at all the restaurants locally. And for years, I didn’t want to make a low calorie fry sauce recipe, merely because I didn’t want to look up how much mayonnaise was in the average French fry sauce recipe.

For my fellow Idahoans, please don’t hate me for taking this popular local sauce, and making it healthy. You will see me filling up on all the wonderful fry sauces at Boise Fry Company, I assure you! But when I want to make a healthy fry sauce recipe at home, this is the one I turn to.
