Learn how to make London Fog Lattes hot or cold in the directions here…

How to Make a London Fog Latte:

  1. Heat water until just before boiling. You can do this in the microwave, on the stove top or in a kettle.
  2. Steep earl grey tea and lavender in the hot water for 3 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, steam the almond milk. You can do this in the microwave, on the stove top or in a steamer.
  4. Remove tea bag and strain out the lavender.
  5. Add the tea, sweetener (optional) and vanilla to a mug. Top with steamed milk and serve hot

Microwave Tip for the London Fog Latte: Don’t boil the almond milk, you just want it hot… Remove from the heat just before boiling. To be careful with the microwave heating, start by heating only for one minute… then add 30 seconds at a time until you’ve reached the right heat. (All microwaves are different, so keep an eye on it!)

Stovetop Tip for the London Fog Latte: Make sure to keep mixing the almond milk when heating on the stove top. And take it off the heat just before boiling. If you want foam in your latte use a whisk and vigorously whisk the milk for the last minute or two of heating, it will foam up and you can spoon over your drink.

How to Make an Iced London Fog Latte:

  1. Heat water until just before boiling. You can do this in the microwave, on the stove top or in a kettle.
  2. Steep earl grey tea and lavender in the hot water until the water has cooled to room temperature.
  3. Remove tea bag and strain out the lavender. Add in the sweetener (optional) and vanilla and mix together and mix until dissolved.
  4. Pour the tea into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with almond milk, and add more ice as needed. Serve cold.

Tip for Iced London Fog: The iced London Fog recipe can be made ahead of time. Make the Earl Grey the night before, add in the sweetener and vanilla, and remove the lavender and tea bag. Cover and place in the fridge (I like do this all in a mason jar). The next morning simply add ice and almond milk and you all set with your iced London Fog vanilla tea latte.
