Healthy Boston Cream Pie Parfait

Can you think about anything better than chocolate for breakfast? I have a jar of Homemade Fat Free Chocolate Syrup in the fridge calling my name, so I tossed this Healthy Boston Cream Pie Parfait together for a protein packed, filling, chocolaty breakfast. You can also split this into 4 servings and serve it as dessert.

Keep this in mind when you pass the yogurt isle, Yoplait, Dannon and Activia all add preservatives and thickening agents into their yogurt… thickening agents. Now, I’m no scientist, but just think about it you are thickening agents into your body, that can’t be good!

Makes 2 large or 4 small Healthy Boston Cream Pie Parfait servings.


Get started:

In a medium bowl combine yogurt, honey and vanilla. Mix well and set aside.

Healthy Boston Cream Pie ParfaitPlace cookies in a Ziploc bag and crush and roll with a rolling-pin until you have just crumbs. Put 1/2 of the crumbs at the bottom of your clear glasses, then top with the yogurt, sprinkle the rest of the cookie crumbs around the sides of the yogurt and top with the chocolate sauce.
