Gin and Juice- 138 calories

Grapefruit is one of my favorite fruits, they are full of Potassium, Vitamin C and Calcium and they are an anti-inflammatory. So naturally I wanted to add some alcohol to them.

Skip the sugar filled, processed juices at the store and make your own, it is so much tastier and if a jug of juice can sit on a shelf for months and months it is probably not that good for you… right!?!?

Makes 2 cocktails-

  • 1 large Pink Grapefruit
  • ⅓ cup Gin

Squeeze and strain the grapefruit juice, set aside. Fill two glasses with ice, add ½ of the gin to each glass top with the juice and stir. Easy, right!

If you don’t like gin you can make this a Greyhound and just use vodka, I prefer gin the Elderberry in it adds a nice flavor to the cocktail.
