How to Make Garlic Tomato Pasta:

  1. In a large sauce pot bring 4-6 quarts of water to a boil. Then add in the pasta and cook until aldente (according to package). Then drain and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, while the pasta cooks start on the burst tomato sauce.
  3. To a large skillet over medium heat, add the tomatoes and cover. Cook for 10 minutes until they start to burst. (Note: if the tomatoes start to stick to the pan, add 2 tablespoons water)
  4. Add in the garlic, salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
  5. Pour in the cooked pasta, and toss together, top with basil and cheese (if you desire) and serve hot.
